Members contact data is held by the Committee in order to enable the club to be able to communicate with you to send you club news, cancellations, updates to our activities and items of interest. With your consent, to enable other club members to communicate with you.
Committee members hold or have access to the email mailing list and members mobile numbers to enable urgent communications such as late notice cancellation of a visit to a place of interest. This data is held on personal computers and mobile phones.
We collect data from members by way of our membership form. Prospective members are asked if they want to be added to our email contact list to enable news, cancellations, items of interest and updates to be received.
There is only one hard copy of a membership form and no other copies are made. The membership forms folder is kept in a secure location. Where permission is granted on the membership application form, some members details are available to other members to facilitate direct contact between members. These details are in the private members area of our web site.
Our web site uses cookies to enhance your visit, make it easier to navigate around the site and to collect statistics. No private information is collected and most browsers can be set to delete cookies on shut down.
The club makes no other use of member's data.
We do not share members data with anyone or any organisation.
